Cher Walker is owner and business manager at True Blue Watersports.
She is a PADI Divemaster and has made hundreds of dives in the Gulf of
Mexico, as well as, exotic destinations throughout the Caribbean.  

Under Cher's management and care, True Blue Watersports has grown to
be one of the largest PADI dive centers in the state of Louisiana and a
PADI 5 Star Center.  

Cher has a master's degree in Science, Exercise Physiology, and has 10
years of private school teaching experience. Her teaching experience and
love of diving has helped her create many exciting programs at True Blue
Watersports.  From SCUBA classes, swim parties, swimming lessons and
summer marine camp, her programs help introduce others to the exciting
world of water.

Arturo Garcia is a PADI Master Instructor who has
certified hundreds of students over the past thirty years.  
He is also a Scubapro and Dacor factory technician.

Art also enjoys  hunting, fishing, horseback riding,,
carpentry, and is game for any outdoor activity.                 
                                                              
Rock Palermo is an attourney at
Bice and Palermo. Rock is a
PADI Master Instructor, who
started out certifying students on
cruise ships.

To get away from the main stream
legal system, he conducts some of
our classes. Rock is a pilot, active
in the Civil Air Patrol. He also
enjoys photography and spending
time with his family.
Dean Henagan is a PADI Master
Scuba Diver Trainer, a USCG Captain,
and loves being on the water and
outdoors. Other interests include hiking,
camping and motorcycles.
DeWayne Corley is PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and a
geologist working in the environmental field. A proud Dad of one
daughter and one son. DeWayne grew up watching the Undersea
World of Jacques Cousteau, which led to his passion for the
underwater world.

DeWayne is very devoted McNeese fan and can be seen on the
sidelines during football games operating the field camera for the
replay board. In addition to diving, DeWayne loves music and
attending theater.

Captain Darrell Walker is co-owner of True Blue Watersports. He has
been diving for the past 30 years and is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
Darrell loves introducing new divers to the exciting world of scuba diving, as
well as, instructing seasoned divers in higher levels of certification and
specialty courses.

Darrell's  primary focus away from True Blue Watersports is supporting
research efforts at the Flower Gardens Banks National Marine Sanctuary.
Darrell is a USCG licensed 10
0 ton Master and Captain of the NOAA
research vessel R/V Manta. His passion is the sea and believes the precious  
resource of natural reefs in the Gulf Of Mexico should be cherished and
protected for present and future generations.

Ryan Mareno is a PADI DiveMaster
and Law Enforcement Officer.  Ryan is a
member of the Sheriff’s Office Dive
Team and has over ten years of diving
experience.  He is a part time employee
with Blue Star Marine.  Ryan is married
with three children and enjoys duck
hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Ron Johnson started diving in 1989 and
Achieved Dive master Status in Nov 2005
with True Blue Watersports. He started
Law Enforcement Nov of 1982 and has
been in Marine Enforcement for 10 years.
Ron has been diving with the Sheriff’s
office Regional Dive team since 2000
.
PADI Master Scuba Instructors:
Ramie Reed is a  divemaster
and Scubapro Regulator
Technician.  He  has recently
retired and now does what he
wants, when he wants, which
usually revolves around fishing,  
diving, and traveling. He enjoys
mountains as much as oceans,
and travelling in between.
