What's the True Blue Staff like?
Darrell Walker has been diving for the past 30 years and is a PADI Master Scuba Diver
Trainer. As General Manager, his responsibilities include managing the day to day operation at
True Blue Watersports and heading up the Training Department. Darrell loves to introduce new
divers to the exciting world of Scuba diving as well as instruct seasoned divers in higher levels of
certification and specialty courses .He is a reserve Deputy and Dive Safety Trainer for the
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Department blackwater dive team. Darrell is a 100 ton Master and
Captain of our 42 foot custom built dive vessel, the "Eagle Ray." When he isn't diving, Darrell
enjoys hanging out with his wife, Cher, while offshore fishing, motorcycle riding, hiking,
camping and being outdoors. His love of adventure is contagious. Call True Blue and schedule

Cher Walker is the Business Manager at True Blue Watersports. She and Darrell started
taking baby steps to grow a sport they both loved - from renting a small space on Lake Street in
1999 to the fine facility they currently own. Cher schedules trips, classes, parties and anything
else related to water at True Blue. This year, she'll be scheduling trips on the Eagle Ray. During
her spare time, Cher enjoys diving, exercising, and anything else outside Darrell talks her into.

Tyler Walker is the Assistant Manager at True
Blue and is resident webmaster for
truebluewatersports.com. He is also a student at
McNeese majoring in Art. Being Darrell's son,
Tyler has been around water and diving for most
of his life. When he's not working at True Blue,
Tyler enjoys playing with his band, I Am
Sparticus, hanging out with his girlfriend and
playing video games.

Arturo Garcia is a PADI
Master Instructor who has certified
hundreds of students over the past
twenty years. He is also a Scubapro
and Dacor factory technician. Art
trains horses during his spare time.

Rock Palermo is an attourney at
Bice and Palermo. Rock is a PADI
Master Instructor, who started out
certifying students on cruise ships. Now,
to get away from the main stream legal
system, he conducts some of our classes.
Rock is a pilot, active in the Civil Air
Patrol. He also enjoys photography and
spending time with his family.

Dean Henagan is a PADI Master Scuba Diver
Trainer, a USCG Captain, and loves being on the
water and outdoors. Other interests include
hiking, camping and motorcycles

DeWayne Corley is PADI Master Scuba Diver
Trainer and a geologist working in the
environmental field. A proud Dad of one daughter
and one son. DeWayne grew up watching the
Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau, which led
to his passion for the underwater world. He's a
very devoted McNeese fan and can be seen on the
sidelines during football games operating the field
camera for the replay board. In addition to diving,
DeWayne loves music and attending theater.
